Chelsea Youngster, Abraham, Set To Dump England For Nigeria, Meets Pinnick In London

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is much closer to securing the services of Chelsea FC of England forward Tammy Abraham to switch allegiance from England to Nigeria, according to NFF President Amaju Pinnick. Pinnick
hinted after Wednesday’s meeting with the tall striker, who has represented England at junior level but is eligible to wear the green-white-green for the Super Eagles having never played for the Three Lions.

“Most recently, there was a meeting with Tammy, which Tammy’s agent, Neil Fewills also attended. It was a useful meeting, and I can say the talks are at an appreciable level now and all is looking good,” Pinnick told
“Tammy is like a son to me, because his father was my childhood friend. I believe he is a good prospect for the Super Eagles and the effort is well worth it.”
Full name Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham,Tammy scored 23 goals for Bristol City last season on loan from Chelsea FC, and is presently playing for Swansea City in the English Premiership, again on loan from Chelsea. He
